In 2023, JECTOR co-sponsored the "Home From Above Project" (看見家鄉計畫), organized by the Taiwan Home From Above Education Association (台灣看見家鄉推廣教育協會). With the core philosophy of "understanding the environment, connecting with the land, and speaking up for one's hometown," this project guides children and youths to start from their daily living spaces and rediscover the places where they grew up through video creation, field study tours, and local observation. Under the guidance of teachers and the project team, the children recorded their hometown stories through camera lenses, observed community environments, and cultivated their observation skills, critical thinking, and expressiveness during the creative process.
During the achievement presentation and exchange events, the children transformed their learning processes into videos and creative works, reflecting their care for the land and environment while showcasing their unique creativity and perspectives. This learning journey not only deepened the children’s understanding of their local culture but also allowed a wider audience to appreciate local stories and the value of the land.
